We’ve been dying to show you this Wequassett wedding since May 2018 when Addy booked us to film her wedding. Allison, from Elegant Engagements of Cape Cod, recommended that we film their wedding. After speaking with them, we were all in for this gorgeous event and their rehearsal dinner. The hardest part was waiting a year and a half to film it!
Catie and Bill were pumped to have their wedding at the gorgeous Wequassett Resort on Cape Cod in May—everything was perfectly set in place—but they had yet to decide on whether or not to get a wedding videographer.
Like many grooms, Bill was beyond excited to marry the love of his life—but being in the spotlight wasn’t exactly something he was looking forward to.
Adding another set of cameras trained in on them as a couple just seemed impossibly overwhelming to him.
But Katie and Bill knew, as gorgeous and important as wedding photos are, they wanted another way to be able to remember their biggest day together. Something that would bring them back to the moment at any time and maybe even reveal parts of the day they weren’t able to see before.
On the first of December, Steve and Kerry braved the cold winter weather to exchange their vows on at Wequassett Resort on Cape Cod among family and friends under the most perfect winter skies the region has ever seen.
December isn’t typically a time of the year that’s associated with weddings in the Northeast, but it is deeply entrenched in the gathering of family to partake in traditions, new and old, which makes it a perfect time to begin writing a new chapter family history.
They were fun and open to anything despite how shivering cold the weather was. Luckily, Radiance was in the house to warm everyone up with a jammed packed dance floor all night long.
