Boutique Wedding at Boston Area Private Estate

Maggie & Sam were supposed to be wed at Oysters Harbors Club in Osterville but 2020 had different plans.

This sweet, laidback couple hosted their intimate micro wedding at the family’s Boston area private estate rather than on Cape Cod. 

The mid-Fall location swap couldn’t have been more wonderful as the brilliant pops of color from the trees looked like permanent fireworks celebrating their union. 

Their wedding designer had total creative freedom to design their boutique wedding

Their planner had designed weddings and events for the family for years.

And it came as no surprise when she told Allison of Elegant Engagements that she should just surprise them with the wedding design.

The ceremony was simple and elegant featuring fresh flowers accenting the already stunning garden.

For the reception, Allison created several living room areas under the tent where family and friends could gather after their decadent 4-course dinner party with custom embroidered linen napkins. 

When Maggie walked down the aisle, she really hadn’t seen ANY of the wedding design plans!

The whole night was a complete surprise (outside of marrying her true love, of course). Can you imagine how incredible that must have felt?

And did someone say there was a No-Dancing Rule? No problem.

Outside of the first dances—the intimate party was beyond what anyone could have hoped for. And we’d even say that Maggie & Sam felt celebrated in every sense of the word without all the traditional wedding pomp and circumstance.

These two soulmates were cheeky, sweet, and unafraid to be themselves and that’s exactly what should be on a wedding day. A celebration of love and union of the people you are (not the people you think you’re supposed to act like).
